COMMUNITY MARKETS

Our affordable produce markets bring high quality, fresh, and healthy food to Halifax neighbourhoods facing food access barriers. Markets operate year-round and take place every two weeks in Fairview and North End Halifax, and every week in North Dartmouth.

From November-May markets are hosted inside a community space, such as a library or community centre. From June-October markets are hosted outdoors using our custom market vehicle.

Markets offer a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, Stone Hearth Bakery bread, and dried goods. Thanks to our partnership with Atlantic Superstore and our ability to purchase locally-grown produce from local suppliers, we are able to provide fresh and dignified access to low-cost produce.

Our markets are designed to be a fun and welcoming space for all. Cash, debit, and credit are accepted.
